Great question, Pavel! I think it depends what's behind or underneath the label of "lazy." Maybe you're tired -- then definitely accept you need a break. Maybe you're avoiding something scary -- then find those beliefs that are holding you back and lovingly let them go.
Most of all, I encourage you to notice: who is calling you "lazy"? Usually, for me, it's my inner critic -- and I already know *she's* never satisfied. So I say "thank you for sharing" to that inner critic, and do what my heart indicates I need.
I hope you find this helpful! :)

Thank you for this great info!! I have a question. For example, if I feel LAZY, I should not try to make myself do something and become active? What should I do? Just accept laziness and let it exist for an hour or two (or until I want to do anything)?

Oh, Deborah, thank you so much! Yes, I commit to doing more video -- and posting more first takes! It's really interesting how the videos themselves can trigger my perfectionism -- maybe my next challenge is to shoot a video with NO MAKEUP. ::dum da dum dum::
But seriously, thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate them, so much!

Congratulations, Betsy, on allowing yourself space to live outside of the perfectionism trap. Yay post-perfectionism!
What strikes me most in your comment is the awareness that sometimes we let go slowly (for me, most of the time), but sometimes we have to opportunity to just let it go like *that*. ::finger snapping::
Here's to staying present and noticing the opportunities to just release it effortlessly, right? :)

Great video...I love the comment about not being able to be creative and perfet at the same time. Perfectionism is a trap. I have spent the majority of my life trying and dying to be perfect. Now my spirit has a chance to soar because I am ever so slowly, and sometimes quickly, letting go of the perfectionism trap.

Thank you, Dave. Our conversation last week was that pivotal moment that inspired me to go for it. I'm very grateful to you, and very excited to be public in this post-perfectionist space. Woot!
